Aerials Gymnastics Playschool

Structured fun for 3 and 4 year olds in the classroom and in the gym!

Aerials Gymnastics Playschool embraces the concept of “learning through play” and offers a unique program combining playschool activities with gymnastics classes.

In the classroom:

By enriching children’s play, they learn cooperation, problem solving, language, mathematics and how to express themselves in a creative and socially acceptable manner. They develop curiosity, self-esteem, strength and coordination, self-direction and values.

We explore a variety of themes using centers, games, songs, arts & crafts, special events and stories in our dedicated playschool room!

In the gym:

Our students spend about an hour each class in the Ken Morrison Gymnasium. Students jump their wiggles out on the equipment and play active games with parachutes, balls, hoops and a variety of other equipment.  They develop physical literacy skills on floor, vault, balance beam, bars and trampoline, all under the direct guidance and supervision of our certified coaches.
Students progress through our Recreational gymnastics Stars Program at their own individual pace throughout the school year. Our certified coaches help our students develop the fundamental movement patterns that are the building blocks to physical literacy, setting them up for lifelong success in any athletic activity they choose!

Build lasting friendships and new social skills while having fun!

We provide opportunities for your child to develop emotionally, physically, socially and intellectually as they learn about themselves and the world around them on their journey into kindergarten!

Our Teachers

Patti Lowe
Playschool Director

Hello, I’m Patti Lowe, and I am honored to be the Playschool teacher at Aerials Gymnastics Playschool. With a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, I bring over a decade of teaching experience to our playschool community.

I started my journey in education as an Elementary School teacher in 2008, and in the fall of 2021, I happily joined the Aerials family. Here at Aerials, we believe in the power of learning through play. Our commitment is to provide experiences that ignite curiosity, fuel imagination, and encourage creativity in every child.

I am excited to be a part of your child’s early learning adventure at Aerials Playschool. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our program, please feel free to reach out to me!

Jalynn Rook
Playschool Teacher

Hello, I’m Jalynn Rook and I’ve been a part of the Aerials Playschool family since 2020. With a passion for early childhood education, I earned my Early Learning Childcare Certificate from Northwestern Polytechnic in early 2022.

One of my most treasured aspects of Playschool is watching children explore and learn through dramatic play centers. The creativity and imagination they bring to these spaces are truly inspiring. Moreover, I absolutely adore the stories that the little ones share with us – each one is a unique and delightful adventure.

At Aerials Playschool, we’re dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for your child to learn and grow. I look forward to being a part of your child’s educational journey!
